| Pleaese pray for the community of Buffalo, New York. |
|
Buffalol has been grieved by several recent murders, including that of a 62-year-old nun, Sister Karen Klimczak, who worked with men recently released from prison. Sister Karen was a force for peace in the community, and I know a number of people who knew her and shared her work. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060419/1064980.asphttp://www.legacy.com/buffalonews/DeathNotices.asp?Page=Lifestory&PersonId=17488313http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060419/1068313.asp

A good many people are trying to follow the way Sister Karen espoused -- forgiveness, redemption, commitment to peace. May we celebrate the lives and legacies of those we've lost -- Karen Klimczak, Joseph Bissonette, Tom Fox, and all the others.
