| PLEASE PRAY FOR MY BROTHER JUST ADMITTED |
|
My brother was just self-checked into a mental health facility for suffering from the extreme pain of an 18 month neurological disease that makes him ache and his muscles are fading away in bizarre places (like one spot on his hand looks sunk in) and he had lesions on an MRI once, but they didn't diagnos him with MS, but that's an ongoing problem at this time -
my prayer request before God Almighty, and my DU "friends" is that he gets whatever it is he needs in the hospital. I believe this is all so much on him, and he feels helpless that the pain won't go away and his physician is the only neurologist in his area and he has to use them because he has SSI due to losing everything in his self employed business. I pray that he be lifted up by the hands of mercy and have holy sprinklings of divinity wash over his hurting body and a renewed spirit to hold on. He is so shy that he doesn't want any of our family to know, so I come to my fellow DU'ers...
Please, it would mean so much if fellow believers of our Lord would pray for him, and if you don't pray but send "positive waves", those are kindly welcomed also.
God bless you to all.
write me if you have a prayer request, and I'll pray for it. I will also read down through the others that are recent.

of course I will be happy for pray for your brother, you, and your family. Bless his heart. I will lift him up and pray that the doctors are able to diagnose his disease, and bring him the treatment he so desperately needs. And that he will be comforted while there, and his pain eliminated. I will pray that his health be restored, and his spirit lifted.
I know you must be terribly worried about him, and I am praying for you as well. That you will be able to be strong for your brother, and a source of comfort for him.
Deuteronomy 31:8 'It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.’

I was feeling kind of down and your request for prayer for your brother put things in perspective. I hope he is doing better and receiving the help he needs. I will remember him in prayer and you also to be able to be close and help him.

| 9. You and your brother are in my prayers |
|
 Remember God loves him so much.
St. Dymphna patron of the mentally ill will pray for you, too. She was a martyr whose shrine is a haven for mentally ill in Belgium. Dymphna is sometimes portrayed with a devil chained to her leg and a sword. She, with the strength of God, will chain and slay the sickness that is asualting your poor brother.
Also, remind yourself and your brother THAT YOU DID NOTHING EVER TO DESERVE THIS PAIN! GOD IS NOT PUNISHING YOU! Illnesses have a will of their own, but God is the health that will pull him through.
