I'm afraid I don't have one right now, but I did stop in the St. Anthony chapel yesterday on my way out of Mass and prayed for a few minutes (I generally do).

2. The power of prayer

There's a discussion of the power of prayer in the R/T Forum. I don't recommend it.

What I wanted to say was that even if the prayer or meditation simply keeps us focused on the important issues, it's worth the effort.

As I said in mass yesterday, "Lord, hear our prayers!"
