1. Hey, we had that song at our house, too!

My daughter didn't nap consistently until she was 6 months. My son did not nap well until one year.

Keeping nap time scheduled and consistent helped, but did not completely negate the problem.

My boy is 2 1/2 now, and I have been having crazy thought about a third. Thanks for helping me keep it real :hi:

2. No problem.

It's hell when they skip naps. Garrison was starting to get off his schedule, so we decided, if he doesn't nap by a certain time, we put him in his crib and let him cry. (Worked for bedtime.) But it's so painful to listen to.

But this day, I kept singing (quietly) this song, and my husband was trying not to crack up.

I ended up curled in a fetal position. Glad you are able to keep you sense of humor about it. Helps enormously when you can laugh.

4. Have you ever sung the Flintstone song when he's crying

My experience is it never fails.

You don't sing the whole song.

You only sing the musical refrain that goes between "when you're with the Flintstones, have a yabadaba do time, a daba do time, you'll have a gay old time" and "you'll have a gay old time"
