My IT guy recently upgraded me to IE7 - I was happy with IE6, but I guess he knows better. I'm getting used to it, but I just found that if I want to highlight the URL of a site and then copy it to send to somebody, I can't do it. As soon as I click the "Edit" button, the highlight disappears, and the "Copy" and "Cut" options on the Edit button are grey.
Does anybody know how to post a URL from IE7?

| 1. It's quicker and easier to use keyboard shortcuts. |

Highlight the URL, then press CTRL-C. Go to the e-mail you are composing, put the cursor where you want the link to appear, and press CTRL-V.

| 2. Right-click on the link |

In IE 7 you can copy a web address by right clicking on it with the mouse and then click "copy."
Then, right click the place you want to insert the copied link and click "paste."
