1. Can you still highlight, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V with the keyboard?
If so, your mouse driver may be corrupted. You should be able to update the mouse driver from the manufacturer's site. If not the mouse, it sounds as if the Chrome uninstall damaged or deleted your Windows clipboard dll. You may need a system restore to a point prior to the Chrome install.

3. i had to reboot for 8 update..due to Restore points.. i got the copy click back .. thanks
