I just joined Twitter. I'm not sure if I like it or not - I'm still getting a feel for it.
Anyway ... does anyone have experience with TweetDeck? Does it make things easier? I'm following a lot of people right now and it's a little overwhelming. The feeds are interesting, but it's not organized in any way. :-(
At the moment, my account is private/protected because I'm trying to get acquainted with the whole experience and I didn't want any distractions. However, I've been getting a lot of requests from people who want to follow me. I assume they're getting my name from the "followers" list of the people I follow, but I'd like to know if there's any disadvantage to allowing total strangers to follow me. I've declined the requests from the obvious porn usernames, but what should I do about the others? Does it matter? If they turn out to be weirdo stalkers, can I block them from following me after I approved them?
Any suggestions about using Twitter? Are there any "don't miss" feeds I should follow? Any help or info would be appreciated. :hi:
