What happened to my *clicks*?

Okay, this is going to sound amateurish. But.

After the fresh install last week, my mouse started working as it did when new; sounding nice little clicks when buttoned or on page changes. It also has ALWAYS clicked on my game options while playing (even when not so on other applications). I was playing the game and suddenly all click sounds stopped. I rebooted, but still no more CLICKS! :cry:

Is this a setting somewhere? What else?

1. In xp go to control panel then to sounds and audio devices

then clik on sounds and set it how you like.

:hi: Thanks to your instructions, I now discover the *clicks* are still there, but there is a speaker problem instead!
This was a surprise because the other game sounds were working fine.

I'll troubleshoot that, but have an extra speaker set.
