| Received access violation errors installing Seagate FreeAgent |
|
What do these errors mean? Is there a problem with the Seagate FreeAgent portable drive, or is something going bad on the Toshiba laptop? When I received these errors during installation, I was going to research them on a different computer, but the Seagate didn't wait for an answer from me, just continued with the installation.
1st error - access violation at address 014FAEA0 Write of address 00000010
2nd error - access violation at 0045A20F in module animation.exe Read of address 00000180
After installation, I copied some data from 'my documents' located on Toshiba to the portable drive, and the data seems to be fine. Should I be worried about anything? Thanks.
