| I was sitting reading DU and all of a sudden my computer "clicked" like when |
|
the power goes off...but the power had not gone off and I had a blue screen which said something about a serious problem and to restart my computer if this was the first time I had seen the message (it was). So, I turned it off and restarted it and got a message from Microsoft that the serious problem had been resolved and did I want to send an error report..anyone know what this is about? Does this is any way indicate that my computer is sick or dying? Just a glitch? Thank you.

What kind of computer? There's a log entry somewhere to tell you what went wrong.

| 5. You have just experienced |

the famous BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). If Windows says it's resolved, don't worry any more unless it happens regularly. Could be a sign of something drastically wrong, may just be a glitch that won't repeat.
