My son was updating our 'puter
to include being able to type Chinese characters. That's fine, but somehow our Time/Date got changed - not only to Chinese, but also military time. How the heck do I change it back? I've tried doing it IN the "Change Date and Tikme settings" - but there doesn't seem to be an option for what the problem is.

Can anyone help here?

1. Sounds like he installed the MS IME
Input Management Editor. I'm not entirely sure how to fix your exact problem, but try this:

Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options

The default tab on the dialog should read "Regional Options." Make sure the dropdown in "Standards and formats" is set to "English (United States)." Click Apply, then OK.

If that doesn't work, there are a few other fields and tabs with options, in the same dialog, that you can fiddle with.

3. Cool!
I used to have the Japanese IME on my PC for my son, but it's been awhile and the details are hazy. A lucky guess.
