| Could anyone please help me with this problem? |
|
When I click on a tab at a particular bookmaker's website, a yellow flash appear at the cursor, but the only other thing that happens is that I get a little icon on the command bar at the bottom of the screen, which, when right-clicked, indicates that the pop-up blocker was NOT activated! Any help on this point would be much appreciated.

Which browswer are you using, and with what sort of add-ons?
Also a link to the site where this is happening would be useful so we can duplicate it and see what's happening.
Otherwise, I have no clue.

"browser"? What you launch to view the Internet. And which version? IE8? Firefox?
I thought it was a publisher! Have you ever been able to use it without issue?

| 5. Internet Explorer 8 is the browser. Yes, it's only in the last few days that |
|
the problem's arisen. There was never a problem depositing money before.

I would contact the site's support email or online form for support. When I click the payment option tab in IE8, the yellow pop-up blocker DOES indicate a pop-up was blocked. Allowing the pop-up merely opens another home page.
It's possible that tab has been hacked.

| 4. My guess is that it needs javascript active in your browser |
|
for the site to function properly, and you probably have javascript disabled in your browser.

| 6. Would that be tackled under Sun Java Console? If it would be useful, |

It's not impugning anyone's integrity to say this, as I'm sure Duer 157099 will agree -- that's an extraordinarily bad idea. Don't give your passwords to anyone who isn't as close as kin, and give it long consideration before you even do that.
Javascript is not the same as Java. What Duer 157099 is talking about can be set from within IE's Internet Options selections. I can't tell you the particulars, as I don't use IE anymore and haven't updated it since IE6, so there'll certainly be differences. I'm sure D or W can help you when they're back.
