couldnt get my browser to work, i got this message.." Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

so i fight it for days trying to get Google to work.. no luck... but guess what, it works just fine on 'BING'.

how do i get Google back, ..?? i cant even load Google but i can get to my mail. it's beed hijacked.!!

1. I had this and gave up but needed it one day - I believe I just

went into the options and ask to have it reset to the defaults - of course now I don't remember the exact steps - after that it worked - or it might have had something to do with the install of an update and turning off the firewall - sorry I got it fixed but don't remember since I was doing so many things because I started to get that message or something similar when I was trying to install an update for my MagicJack

6. Try clearing the cache ..

cookies and history. Best to close IE and go to Control Panel to clear and then restart IE.
If unresolved, try with your firewall disabled.

7. It sounds like your browser has been hijacked

Usually it's a piece of malware that messes with the browser to force your pages to redirect.

Post the Hijack-This log if you want and I'll examine it.
