. . . but I'm about to get a new smartphone and I'm having trouble deciding.
So, Blackberry Bold or iPhone 3gs?

iPhone. Seriously, unless you are in a area not covered by AT&T or don't want a decent music player or widget player. Go with a iPhone since they probably cost about the same per month, no idea since I have neither just administrate the Blackberry's.

I would suggest the iPhone if it's for personal use, but the Blackberry if it's a business related purchase. But really, either does the job. If I were you, I'd worry more about your local cell phone speeds for the iPhone vs. the Blackberry. Some networks are faster than others, even though they all claim to be 3G. Our iPhones run at about 700Kb/second, but the Blackberry (Verizon) phones run closer to 1.2Mb/second. Those speeds could vary from city to city between different carriers.
