1. heh .
I'm going to removing mine. I loved it with Firefox. I use Opera, but have to start up IE for a couple of things, and the google UPDATER wants to take over. I never allow it to connect, and end the process. The whole thing takes so much extra time.

What browser were you using it on?

2. It was on IE
I don't understand Google Toolbar, don't use it, don't know how it got there. Honestly I think it was causing IE to crash all the time, too. Yes, I use Firefox too. I have cookies extremely controlled on IE-- so much so that I actually have to use Firefox for some websites, because I rejected the "wrong" cookies.

3. I liked it for all its search features.
And auto fill. But Opera works great for those features as is. Well, the auto fill is not quite up to par. But I can live with it. Opera has a very simple process to deal with saved passwords and modify. IE's is still a mystery to me.

5. You can remove them from the Add/Remove Programs tool
Or, to make them inactive, you will find a menu option in Firefox or IE (I use Firefox and it's View->Toolbars) that allows you to check or uncheck the toolbars you want to see.

And I LOVE :loveya: the Google toolbar, especially the Pagerank tool. It tells me a lot about a website. I also use the Search box constantly.

7. What browser are you using?
Who is your mail provider, and what MSN toolbars, browser helpers, etc. do you have installed?
