Question about doing a disk image to an external drive.

Is it true that one can not use the computer while it is doing the back up? That would be inconvenient.

1. Only if you are doing a disk image to replace your drive with a larger one

otherwise, back up at your leisure. I use Acronis and I like it a lot.
