| Any ideas why AVG will not update today? |
|
I have gone to their help section and cannot find the answer. Should I un-install and reinstall it?
This computer has been very slow the last week or two. I have updated everything, cleared everything I can think of. Done scan disk, disk defrag, temp files and all that. Still slow.
I probably should install an run CCleaner but I am always afraid to do that. I don't know what I'm looking at when the results are posted. With my old computer I deleted everything indicated with CCleaner and wondered if I deleted anything I should not have. That computer was messed up anyway, I got rid of it because coping was very frustrating.
Now have HP Pavilion 763, Windows XP, SP3 IE7 and plenty of memory.
Thoughts would be appreciated.

Try again in 4 or 5 hours. Or, if you're not on v.9, try upgrading...

occasionally their update server gets bogged down. If it won't update tomorrow, then I'd check settings. Get Malwarebytes Antimalware. http://www.malwarebytes.org/
