The one ubuntu 9.1 comes with suck or I think so anyway. What is a good burner for writing data to disc, photos from our camera, copy an occasional cd or dvd and for burning ISO's

...but it's a KDE program, so you might have to pull down a bunch of other files if you're running a 'pure gnome' system. Should be in the repo, though.
