At one time, I could hold down the left button of my mouse

and it would rapidly delete anything to the right that I have typed. Will not do that rapid delete any longer and I seem to wait forever for it do go from letter to letter. I know I can highlight and delete but sometimes it is quicker to just hold down they key for a second or two.

Been everywhere in the Control Panel to see if I can find a way to speed this up. Can't find any. I changes to a new mouse about 2 months ago. Seems that should not be a problem.

Where did I forget to look?
