Posting using Uuntu 10.04 alpha 1

They said the mission was to speed things up and I think their well on their way to doing that. So far it all looks good. Really haven't had a chance to dig in any to see what's different but i will later.

I have to admit that I wouldn't have downloaded it if i'd a noticed that it was an alpha 1 but since I did I said what the heck.

2. Well it takes about 10 maybe 15 seconds to boot

Not just to a splash screen either, I mean ready to go. A big improvement over any others I've tried. So I give it kudos's for that. This alpha1 is not ready for prime time yet but they definitely have something going on here that is going to be worth watching and waiting for.
