So, I'm still using Office '03. I like it, mostly. But I have a couple of questions about comments in Excel
First, is there a way to change the default width? I always use 4" for the width, but it defaults to 1.5", making me change it each time.
Also, is there a way to change the default background colour in the comments for each page? I have 30 or so comments on each of 20 pages, and I dread having to go through and change the colour for each one. I'll be doing a different colour for each page, if I can do this.
Thank you!

You may be able to select all the comments using the CTRL key (it might be SHIFT, but usually it's the CTRL key). First, click the cell with the first comment. Second, hold down CTRL and click the cell with the second comment. Continue holding CTRL as you select all the cells with comments. Then, right click one of the cells with a comment and select Edit Comment.
You might want to try it with only 2 comments first to see if Excel allows you to edit multiple comments before you take the time to select them all.
