Convert Linux program to Windows Use

We have an ancient store sales program that originally ran, and has run for many eons on linux. Can we somehow convert it to Windows use?
The company is long out of business, but the program continues to work good, and all the employees know how to use it, so we want to keep it.
But keeping it running on linux is a hassle.
Can it be converted to Windows?

2. Although it's not officially supported

I think that Windows 7 will run Linux in a virtual environment. You could do something like that if you have Windows 7, then you wouldn't have to worry about converting it from Linux to Windows (which would be a REALLY rough process - speaking with experience as a software developer).

3. In terms of source code, no we don't have anything. I think the

name of the program is Regitel, or Registar, I'll have to go into the store to look.
Ok, virtual environment in Windows 7, I'll see if I can find anything out about that.

Sun was recently taken over by Oracle so I don't know what the future holds for VB. For VB to be useful, you probably need to install the Guest Additions, and not all linux distros seem to work with Guest Additions. It may also matter if we're talking about single-user use of a stand-alone program or a program that runs on one machine and allows access by multiple workstations: the second may be trickier (or impossible?) to set up
