| MagicJack number, how do I find it. |
We had a magicjack set up in Ontario, but now we have moved over to Gardena and I got a new magicjack and installed it there. However we got the old one, that had been installed in Ontario and brought it over and are now trying to hook it up. Customer service would not talk to me. My friend said he talked to them for one hour, and they only said, you have to have the phone number. It was written on a post it note on the monitor out there, and other than that, no one ever knew the number. Any ideas how I could find it? dc

| 1. can you sign into your account - it is usually in there - it does come |
up on the mj when it is up on your computer but that sounds like part of your problem - you can talk to the idiots with online chat - just keep trying different ones until you get one who knows anything. I am not sure how else I would find mine otherwise -

| 2. We finally got it lined up, to get a new number. I kept telling my |
associate that it was expired. Therefore not in the system. That turned out to be the case. We finally got the serial number off the thing, and they found that the email address used was a non existant one. We got it aligned up with a new email address and password, so now he will take it to the new location, use the new email address, the new password, and pay for 1 year or 5, then I guess it will tell him the old number, unless that has expired also. Which won't matter. He can just get a new one. It took about a total of 6 hours online chat, about 5 sessions, about 5 days. Whew. dc

| 3. yes they have idiots on the other end - that is why you disconnect and try again |
they don't keep track of the conversations so you start over each time anyway - and then finally you get someone who is smart who actually helps you - most just want to get you off the line so they get credit for a completed problem report - must be paid per report - those who actually help probably get paid less

| 4. Well we had a couple idiots on our end too, so it was the blind |
trying to lead the blind for a while. I know a little bit (only a partial idiot) but even then my friend had to help me to get it straightened out. dc
