I have a shortcut on my desk top that requires me to double click it twice to open the program

I have a shortcut on my desk top that requires me to double click it twice to open the program
Its Kodak Easy Share and if I double click on it or right click on it and push Start, the program will not open. The second time it will open.

Any ideas what can cause this?

1. Why waste time with this?
Just delete the shortcut and make a new one. BTW, have you checked to see if the program opens properly from either the program start menu or the program folder? Maybe it's the program itself and not the shortcut.
