when I post links in an e-mail, they're not showing up as active? Is something turned off I need to turn on?
Thanks for any help.

| 2. I have an account in yahoo; the links used to be live, but |
|
they no longer are for some reason. Here I'm okay.

:hi:
When you say not showing active, is that at your end or the email receiver's end? Or both?
For example, I have HTML turned off in my Thunderbird email, so when I paste a link it just looks like plain text. I don't really use webmail much but maybe there is a setting that allows you to compose in plain text and that has been turned on.

Both. When I look at what I want to send, what I've copied and pasted, it's not highlighted, nor is it on the recipient's end.
Maybe I should poke around in the control panel and see if I can find html, and whether I turned it on or off?

| 5. Yeah, maybe you should |

But it sounds unusual for webmail to NOT have HTML enabled by default. Another thing to check is in your Firefox Options. On the content tab / colours button, there is an option to underline links or not.
Everything else working fine??

| 6. Firefox looks okay. This computer defaults |

to Outlook, which I don't use. I recently clicked on Outlook and quickly got out of it; I wonder if that has something to do with it?
Everything else is working fine at the moment; I saved a recent .pdf file I rec'd thanks to your input, so thanks! Looks great!

| 7. Nah. Outlook wouldn't matter |
|
Mail programs don't affect webmail and vice versa. Maybe some some obscure security setting that Yahoo has enabled?
