| iTouch syncing issues with Windows 7 PC |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-26-10 02:57 PM by Tripper11
I recently reformatted my kids laptop. I installed Windows 7. I downloaded iTunes so he can use it along with his iTouch. He likes to sync up music he downloads to his iTouch so he can take it downstairs and play his drums to his music. He has a ocuple hundred songs on his iTouch and about 30-40 new songs on his laptop. When we plug the iTouch into the laptop in order for it to sync up, it always asks to sync with the warning that it will wipe out all current songs on the iTouch. Obviously we're trying to avoid that, any help please? Thanks
edited : I meant iTouch not iPod in subject line
2nd edit : I should add that when I plug the iTouch into the laptop, it's recognized, but doesn't show any music list.

| 1. Yeah you should have backed up his iTunes music folder before reformatting. |

Without that, you can buy some 3rd party software that will sync the music FROM the iTouch back into iTunes but otherwise you are out of luck.
