| DVD compatibility question |
|
Will DVDs from the U.S. work in a DVD player in the U.K.? I ask because VHS tapes were not compatible.
Also on another DVD note - I learned by trial and error which DVDs I had to use for my computer. I have learned that DVD-R works for me. I don't seem to be able to use any rewritable DVDs. that's a pain the the a**.
Why are there so many types? DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW etc. It's very confusing.
thanks,

| 1. I have seen both answers. Yes and no. There is a different |

Euro format that would not work here. Also there may be regional coding. But the bottom line is, it depends on the disc. On what it is that you are dealing with. dc
