| Dreamweaver and html form issues! ack! |
|
okay, i am more of a 'designer' than a code person, so please try and bear with me...
trying to add a form to an html page does it actually have to be a PHP to work? want to send the data straight to an email, no database what the heck does GET/POST mean?
i am so lost! I took a college class a few years ago with Dreamweaver 8 and we did a from, but i don;t think we ever got to the actual 'testing' of it...just putting the elements on the page
does it have to be so hard?

| 1. form you probably made did not work in a REAL system - they have to |
|
be connected to a backend and have a cgi script or perhaps a php function to pull the data and pass it No I have not set one up search on html form processing
Get means it gets the data from the url address and seen by everyone Post means it pushes the data unseen
