| Questions on setting up wireless. |

I have the system running, I just want a better understanding of what I did:
(1) When it asks you whether your connection is home or public, is it just better to list public to keep your system off the home network, in case someone hacks into the line?
(2) Where do I got on a Vista to find the setting that says to "automatically obtain an IP address."

| 1. I don't think you want a public network |

Is this question from the router set up wizard? I can't recall where you are asked that. To find Vista TCPIP properties, go to this link http://www.simplehelp.net/2007/02/06/screenshot-simulation-windows-vista-tcpip-properties/then click on the pink highlights. It will show you how to access.
