| I recently purchased a new laptop. A question. |
|
I use Firefox exclusively. In the past I was told FF uses uses some IE DLLs in order to work properly.
Is this still the case, or can I safely uninstall IE?
The new machine is running Windows 7 and the latest version of FF, since I installed it yesterday (11/27).
Thanks in advance!

| 1. You should not uninstall IE... |
|
certain features like Windows Update require IE to function. Just set FF as your default browser and remove the IE icon from your desktop.
