Help, please with printing photos

When I resize thumbnail pics to print, I get 'not enough memory'.
My computer is just a few months old with loads of memory (XP). Where do I go to resolve this problem?

1. Have you checked your vertual memory?

and make sure the System is managing it? If not it may be set too small or even turned off.

is your start up list? You should check it.
