2. My sincere sympathy, Eurobabe.
It is so difficult to loose a beloved pet. Our Belle, 11, has just been diagnosed with bladder cancer.
Ninety percent of the bladder is affected. She will be going to Rainbow Bridge soon, I'm afraid.
Her playmate, Dini, the whippet, just went a few months ago. Sigh......z

5. Tears will leave no stain,
Time will heal the pain,
for every life that fades
something beautiful remains.

Don't know which is harder...when they can't stay for very long, or when they've been able to give us so many years...

10. I'm sorry.
My almost-16-year-old has CRF, too. It sucks. I'm not looking forward to going through what you are enduring.

Hugs.

But it leaves such a void for those us still here.

14. I'm so sorry. Sometimes I think losing a beloved animal is worse
that losing a human member of the family. Guess it's the unconditional love.

It is hard and so many just don't understand. May your years of love help comfort you and allow yourself all the tears you need. Sebastien will always be a part of you and one day you will find the smiles he left with you.:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

16. Thanks everyone
I haven't been on DU very much over the past 6 months, a lot of changes in my life...some bad, some good. I think it might be time for another pet tribute, especially in light of me losing my boy, he was such a great cat, low maintenance, full of so much love, he was my first kitty and totally converted me. The hardest part for me is that I was not there, and he is now buried under an apple tree in Germany, and I will never see his grave. (Miscommunication between me and the ex) I wanted him cremated, to keep a tiny portion of his ashes. :(

I'll put up a post requesting photos after my mid-terms next week. Meanwhile look through your photo archives and get ready to honor your lovelies.

 to all those who have recently lost their buddies, big and small. :grouphug:
