| 1. The words "cat" and "normal" do not belong in the same sentence. |
|
Cats are not normal. That's why they're so delightful.

other cat, or neighbor cat. My cat will drink out of the toilet or the pool. He sees them as drinking fountain, and lake or pond. I have a wool sweater of the large stitch variety, and he will go nuts over it. So I guess they tend to do similar things, but they are each unique. dc

| 3. We have a 9 year old female cat who is anything but normal. |
|
When our other cat - a real lover boy - was still with us, we never noticed just how nuts she is. It's been 6 months since he died and Rosie continues to pretty much ignore us unless she wants food, screeches and howls in the middle of the night if any animals come around the house (rural area)and goes totally berserk if you try to pick her up and hug her. We can't let her out because she startles easily and would take off into the woods, never to be seen again if a dog or person came around. We've accepted her for the little maniac she is, but she's definitely the most "not normal" cat we've ever had. I'm still debating whether to try to bring in another cat and, if so, young or old, male or female. In Rosie's defense, she did come from a bad situation, but it's a mystery why she's so crazy after being with us 8 years. The vet says she's just being a cat.

I can't believe aloe is toxic to cats. I never would've guessed that.

| 6. "Normal" as compared to...? |
|
My owners cats assure me that they're normal...in fact, they are SO normal that they can be used as a measuring stick from which to determine both normalcy and deviation from the norm.
I shouldn't have let them audit that class in 'Statistics'. They got...er...confused about the meaning of the term 'deviant' and things went downhill from there.

want to talk about not normal?
I have cabinets about 7 odd feet up in the kitchen..it gets up there and waits on any of my shepperds to walk by and divebombs them.
It has brought live snakes..squirrels..rabbits..anything it can catch into the house. It fought a bobcat to a standstill in our front yard.
baddest cat I've ever seen and a big baby..it will curl on your lap and purr like there is no tomorrow.
and this cat is BIG
