Gumby/Garbo the Rag Doll Cat

In Quiznos today I saw a lady with a cat shirt, cats, and names, one was Rag Doll Cats (printed on the shirt.)
It reminded me of Gumby or Garbo my rag doll. What a cat!
I found him in a pet store many many years ago in Berkeley. He was 9 months, skinny beyond belief, but with huge paws. Too old for anyone to want him. (They want kittens).
But he came running to me, stood up, and started talking to me. I had to take him. He would lay on my desk, limp, staring at me, near the edge, and start to slide off the desk. And continue to slide until he flopped onto the floor as if it were normal cat behavior.
He would always come to me if I called his name. If I spoke to him, he would always respond with a meow.
I'm sure he thought he was normal by his standards.
