Abilene (foster greyhound) arrived last night

what a sweet little girl -- dark fawn with "eyeliner"

she's a bit on the shy side (but that will change as she gets accustomed to being in a house)

she took to the crate with no problem and had a good night's sleep

she is in dire need of a bath -- might do that tonight or wait a couple of days as we don't want to stress her out too much all at once.

she follows us around like a shadow, but we are getting smiles and tail wags out of her. No problem with her and our cats -- she just follows them around for a bit and sniffs at them

2. You are doing a wonderful thing for these babies.

I just wish that I could foster, but I live in a mobile home with a 100-pound Rottweiler, so just don't have enough room. Plus, I am gone from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., so dog would not get enough attention. But I do pet transports when I can to help dogs get to their foster or forever homes.

she is a delight. still on the shy side but coming around. and we found the scratch spot" that gets the leg jiggling.
