Saturn/Uranus Opposition..They canceled my unemployment benefits today..

I don't know if the cause is Mercury retrograde or the Saturn/Uranus opposition that I was warned about last week.. but it showed up today... right on schedule. I knew it was Saturn/Uranus before I even opened the envelope. I understand the opposition is going to peak on 9/15.

It seems whenever Saturn is involved in my life.. it is always causes something nasty.. never good. And then you add in good 'ol Uranus flash and fire and blowing everything apart.. just wonderful.

My employer claimed that I quit.. when in truth.. I was laid off along with 6 other people. They not only canceled the benefits.. they said that I now have to pay them back the measly $98 dollars a week that I have received so far.

I was enjoying the triple conjunction (Jupiter-Neptune and Chiron) so much. Things were going along better and there was a glimmer of hope. I meditated on it and gave the problem to my angels.. but every morning I wake up with that little knot churning in my stomach.. which I guess is better than not waking up at all? :-)

1. Please don't cave to the old ways.

Consider that you can develop a different experience of this Saturnian/ Uranian aspect through the realization that this time Saturn can support you in the fact that your former employer is lying and counting on you and your former co-workers will be suitably disempowered to not bother to take a stand.

Bad enough that you all got fired, but to expect you to repay them retroactively for benefits already received in a matter that had already been adjudicated is really an unacceptable situation and more than likely illegal. It's at least completely unethical.

Please consider getting together with your former coworkers and contacting not only unemployment but CC your former employer if only to fire a shot across his misguided bow. .

As many have said, this is the 2nd pass of the opposition which at the most simplistic level can be described as the old versus the new.

Methinks your former employer has gotten away with this sort of crap for a long while.

It may be a battle you aren't inclined to have, but please consider stating your case, that could drag on for a while.

You are not alone in this matter and you'll feel better and stronger if at the very least, you state your case, contest this, and know that the truth is on your side.

It could potentially set you free.

Let us know how it goes and never forget you've got angels your side who will bring new and better opportunities especially if you stand up to this abusive crap.

I truly feel that everyone has angels. Some theorize at least three a piece.

However, whether they are even remotely in touch with them is a whole 'nother matter.

Anyone who would shaft 7 people and then roast them even further punitively in these times clearly hasn't a clue about angels or karma.

Glad you thought it was a lovely thought.

Yet it would be even more lovely if through confrontation of their misguidedness, it might just nudge them away from cruelty and even a wee bit closer to their angels.

5. find the other 6 co-workers who were also laid off

at fight this. They'll be hard-pressed to prove they fired 7 co-workers at once, when all 7 say they it was a layoff.

12. I am so sorry this happened to you :(

My dad's employer did something similar when he had to retire due to cancer telling the insurance companies he quite instead of leaving because of medical condition. My Mom had to fight to get COBRA and then when he passed the life insurance he had through his job and she won both cases.
