No wonder you're a wreck; it's what happens. Unfortunately I've attended far too many funerals in my day (big Italian family)--it's always difficult. Just use this time to reflect on all you and your brother meant to each other, think of the moments you've appreciated in your life together, and release him when you're ready. That might be today, or it might be in a few months, or it might be years from now. And think of him as he is now, happy, at peace, and right beside you, still loving you.

19. Dear kookaburro...my heart goes out to you and your family.

As a lucid dreamer..I have been able to see my mom, my dear friend in australia, my cat and my husband all after they had died. My cat and my husband I got to see right after they died but my mom and my friend took longer..in my moms case I did not see her for three years.
They were all happy and doing fine and they knew I was dreaming and visiting them.
I hope you get to see your brother in dreaming and remember it and then you will know that he is fine.
You will see your loved one again regardless. In the meantime, it will help you get through this to keep very very busy and keep family and friends around.
