I'm probably gonna have several favors like this in the next few weeks, so I might as well number them.

If you're so led, I would be most grateful if you guys could help me with any of them.

The first favor has to do with "The Book of Obeah." In the last month it won for the International Book Awards 2010, Multicultural Fiction Category, and the video trailer was entered into a contest which is part of a cool film festival, The Topanga Film Festival.

I'm actually going to try to help drum up support for this film festival, as I love their intent, and both the book and The Piece Process are going to be sponsors (via their smallest possible package...lol). If anyone knows any Louisiana (or NOLA specific) small filmmakers, please let me know.

Also in relation to this book, I have created (and hope to really start promoting next week) the HOOKED ON THE BOOK CAMPAIGN. This is the very first project of The Piece Process, and I'll be adding other authors soon, and the HOOKED ON THE COAST Campaign will involve not only authors but artists, musicians...any creation that is in alignment in some way, including intent to be part of a Community Philanthropy project. 'Tis just the beginning. :)

Here's the favor part:

The video contest is by popular vote, so if you wouldn't mind, you could go to HERE to watch the video and vote. It's actually very easy: you sign up with a username and email, then send a password immediately, and then you click one of the stars (1 through 5) under the title of the video. The exposure this could bring is a wonderful opportunity. Look for this image:

...when I can afford it, I am buying this one! So this is an author local to you? And from what I an understanding, this is just one in a series? Are any other books written yet continuing the saga?
