Just want to say THANKS to The Universe

... and Spirit, for revealing an answer to something that was vexing me for the past week.
Kudos to them also, for their sassy sense of humor about the whole situation; literally planting the answer right in front of me (it was there before I even knew it was the answer to a question, I just had to realize it!)

Curiously, I have been trying to read Carl Jung's book "Synchronicity" for the past week, and if this whole thing wasn't an exercise in synchronicity, I don't know what could be.

Now I just need to meditate on "what to do" (if anything) with the information I've received, and also in the larger sense, start to accept the Universe's Lesson that the answers I need are usually 'right under my nose' ... I just need to be more receptive and more conscious of the bigger picture.

Anyway, I just wanted to get this out of my system.

So often things are literally right in front of us - it's a matter of being aware enough to see them. Key thing on what to do with the info? SOMETHING. Doesn't matter what, doesn't need to be exactly the right thing - just needs to be SOMEthing. The next step will show up.

.... the vexation involves another person so I'm not really sure if any 'action' is warranted; it may just be that the Universe wanted me to have the answer to that particular question, and that's all. I didn't ask for anything beyond that, so I need to be ok with getting 'just that'.

6. I had a horoscope w/something similar a couple months back ...

.... (paraphrasing) I was being too impatient and I need to trust that everything was working out as it was intended. I needed to trust that and let things unfold at their pace.

This situation hadn't happened yet so maybe stepping-stones were being laid - who knows? - but the larger message for me is that I really need to TRUST and LET THINGS HAPPEN more, rather than always having to know 'why' and 'when' and 'whats next'? I've never been good at taking advice, which is why I think the Universe made something like this happen, sort of as a "D'oh!" moment for me.

7. I totally hear you!

I guess I've always been pretty impatient with things too, and the past two years have taught me to not make rash decisions. I almost always regret decisions made in haste. Yes, stepping stones have been put down in front of us, I try to calm myself every morning and evening by meditating on trusting the Universe to show me the way.

That doesn't mean we have to be inactive, of course we will have input, but it's kind of freeing for me to give up those obsessive "how, when, where, why, what if, what then" thoughts... I am trying to be more aware of my self-talk, and I really do pile a whole heap of shiite on myself. I have such high expectations of me, I set myself up to not even want to try, or did, until I started to pay attention to this self-talk and practiced being more kind and forgiving of "me."

Right now I really am a work in progress. Construction zone. LOL. :grouphug:
