My star expired and I was waiting for the fund drive and it was torture knowing I couldn't post here. Not that I post very much, mostly a lurker but I have a new found appreciation for the ability.
Maybe this will get me to posting more often!

If we had known, we would have DEFINITELY ponied up for a star! FirstLight mentioned it in passing on Facebook and we took care of it right away. If ANYone is in need of a star and is short of funds, if you're on FB, post a note in the ASAH group, or let someone know elsewhere here on DU! (Is there any other way to let ASAHers know about an expired star...?)

I give every fund drive but last year the valentine's fund drive was earlier than it was this year and the other fund drives I gave a star to someone who needed one. I save this one for myself so I can have the hearts to give away!

who were going to expire until the fundraiser started. They did that before. Mine died last week also.
Glad that you're back! I couldn't stand looking at the ads.

I must say the ads were interesting and some of them scary when some right wing stuff appeared because a thread was posted about Limbaugh or Beck.

I used to donate every Quarter but I really love giving out the hearts.
Its kinda like Gorilla Lovefare. Big Fun!!! So I save all my monies for this fund raising drive.
I spend the same amount either way.
