in a vision I had on Monday. The badger told me it was okay to be angry.
The next day I learned that there is an association between Wisconsin and badgers. Hmmmmmmm... group conciousness coming through much?
Not the first time badger has shown up to bring me a message. Both times it was about emotional stuff.

and can be quite vicious--not surprised that it represented emotions and told you it was okay to be angry!
I do love the fact that the badger has come to represent the protests in Wisconsin--not only are they fierce, they're tenacious!

My daughter, who now lives in Madison, had a Wisconsin Badgers shirt when she was little. It was her favorite shirt.
Badgers are fierce. A lot of the people in Madison are saying, "Never poke a badger in the eye."

I think the mascot is "Bucky" the badger.
He has t-shirts, and evidently it's a rallying cry, saying "F*ck 'em, Bucky"
I realize when I type it out, it sounds extraordinarily crude and harsh, but I think the way they use it is how we're seeing the Wisconsinites stand up and not take any shit.
I'm so in love with Egyptians, Libyans, Wisconsinites and other standing up.

I really adore Wisconsin, even more now.
I'm actually looking into how to set Wishadoo! up with the same legal structure as The Packers: a community-owned nonprofit.
I'm inspired by all things Wisconsin these days. ;)

my parents were forced from their long time home, the home I grew up in. Neighborhood trouble.
So, one morning, years after they had moved I woke up and then closed my eyes, but was not asleep. I was suddenly in my parents house. I was standing on the chair my mother kept in her sewing room. I was rummaging in the sewing cupboards for something, but nothing was familiar. It was not mom's stuff. I heard a voice in the kitchen and remembered that my parents no longer lived there. My next thought was, oh crap, I'm in someone else's house. I was immediately in my own bed, in my own house.
With my eyes still closed, I saw a badger moving across a field toward me. They have quite a distinctive way of running. I thought, okay, hurry up and get here. The badger came right up to my sliding glass door outside the bedroom and gave me a note. It said, "let the past be."
On Monday in a sort of guided state, not sleeping, the badger came to me and told me it was okay to be angry. This revolves around an auto accident I was in last year.
Dear badger, I love my badger. It brings powerful messages. So, Shallah Kali, that poem is right on! Nice, because I have an attorney now and am going after a settlement for the accident.

Whenever badgers are mentioned on DU, let's go post this in the thread.
Cunning badger of the forest, Guide me to wisdom, truth and light. All injustices against me, Wipe clean the slate and set them right.
It's the invocation for the badger. Who's with me?
