| 2. I remember this vividly..... |

I loved that time in my life. I recall reading his book when I was around 22, and it opened a creative portal -- even though that wasn't my intention. I didn't HAVE any intention upon reading it. I never considered myself to be creative, beyond writing, until that time. It triggered my entrepreneurial path for sure.
I remember the "invisible counselors technique." I could never think of anyone I wanted to be there.
It was after reading his book that all creative ideas then came through in dreams, even when I wasn't seeking any ideas. Sometimes I actively tried to close them off, but they'd come through anyway. ;)
I may try this soon, as now I have an idea of who I would invite to sit at a roundtable.
As always, thanks for sharing such cool stuff.

I remember the experience vividly when about the same age, trying to get through a calculus class and I was desperate. I remember reading some history on mathematics and got just an inkling that I can do this. It was like something clicked and my mind filled up with connection after connection. Me, who seriously sucked at math, could not stop problem solving just for kicks  Really, the info seemed to come from nowhere. That was such a wonderful year and have always wanted to swim in the stream of just knowing again.
Yes, I'm gonna just sit at the roundtable with a question and sees who shows up!

:) It would be interesting to see who may pop up without even asking.
