| On Predictions or Readings.. |
|
How do you navigate around the energy of a reading that is a bit gloomy? Is there a way to not attach yourself too much to their framing of the situation? Do you just focus on the hopeful ending that is provided instead?
The power of suggestion has electric bolts, and I appreciate readings but I am spooked by the possible truth in their perceived reality. I feel that try as I might, the scary parts are seeping back into the subconsciousness or never left.
I know, one step in front of the other, right? Keep on trucking and make your own good luck.

don't "do" readings anymore, I always focus on the fact that a reader's perceptions are filtered through his or her own flaws, Issues and prejudices. So, if something a reader said doesn't "track" with me as a likely potential future, I remember that reader's aren't perfect (and the future isn't immutable, anyway.)
And that ultimately, we are our own best readers.

| 2. I always take predictions or readings with a grain of salt. |

It's hard for folks who do readings to not project their stuff. I just listen to what resonates as truth to me and am somewhat open the the rest or not as the case may be. I'm partial to astrology, because it is something I can study and elaborate and reconstruct in a more positive manner, if I happen to get a too negative reading. There is something more than sensing for us to fall back on and explore.

| 3. You could look on a bad reading as simply a warning. |
|
You will know what to avoid in order to get away from a bad situation. Avoiding mistakes could be a positive outcome from a bad reading. I hope that makes sense.

(or should point out) areas in our lives that need work. If someone has offered you a reading that is 'gloomy', is that your interp or did they frame it that way? None of us are working at peak optimum levels so readings may help point out weak spots that need tweaking. Or, if we have ignored those weak spots, the reading may give some idea of what may develop from ignoring it but ultimately, forewarned should give you some leeway to move beyond whatever problem is happening or about to happen.
If the person framed it as 'gloomy', I would avoid their services in the future. The best readings I have had always indicate an alternative course of action if difficult times are approaching. Focusing on 'gloomy' is not very helpful.
You ALWAYS have free will. Nothing is carved in stone.
