Not my fault! My kitties are all spayed and neutered. I'm not actually sure where these little guys came from. Haven't seen any pregnant females cruising around the neighborhood. I'm actually thinking I might put up found cat signs because I guess it's remotely possible they are lost pets. They seem pretty wild, though, as they are scared of people.
They won't come in the house, but are content to eat cat food on the back porch. Wish me luck, as I try to bring them in for vaccination and hand-taming.

| 1. Much luck to you! We had one move into a flower pot |

a couple winters ago. I think he may have been dumped, he was incredibly strong and healthy, just very skittish. He's now a permanent member of the clan.

| 5. Okay, keep those positive vibes coming. Cats 2, human 0. |

Well, .5. I got one to come in early this morning by scooping her up and bringing her in the house for a while. But I couldn't catch the other. Kitten #1 was so miserable without her big sibling that I had to let her go back outside eventually. I came back from errands and tried to bring them both in together with disasterous results. So...uh, vibes for patience.

| 6. We just discovered a new batch of feral kittens in our garage today. |
|
Have seen the mama around all summer; she sure didn't look pregnant! So now we will have to decide whether to try and trap them and take them to the local HS, or just let them be. Too many ferals around here. I feel so bad I can't afford to get them all neutered and vaccinated. (Our local resources for those services are overwhelmed.) Best we can do is keep food and water out for them and put out shelters. Which, of course, attracts more. Sigh.

| 8. Pictures will have to wait, I think. I'm still pic posting challenged. |
|
And also, they still run from me when they see me.
