My son's best friend just committed suicide...

His name was Eddie. He has a great sense of humor. My son has said many times, "Eddie's the funniest kid I've ever known". Please send light to help Eddie cross easily and to my son as he is distraught, as well as Eddie's family.

I was feeling badly because a couple years ago I got a "flash" of this with Eddie but at the time wasn't sure what I was picking up on because it seemed sort of vague and I was getting that it was something in his energy field, not something that was going to happen. I just found out that he's attempted this before so that's probably what I was getting. My son said he just spoke to him a day or so ago and he was fine. I explained to him that many times when something like this happens the ones closest to the person do not see it coming. It's very sad for all affected. Thank you all so very much for the light you're sending for Eddie, his family and my son. I can't tell you how much it's appreciated.

Some of you may remember me. I have asked for prayers for my son under the name "michael vincent." My name is Barbara and Michael is my son. He had severe depression, was bipolar and took drugs. He was 22 years old. He was hospitalized on four occasions and nothing worked. He told me several times that he didn't belong in this world. I don't know what he meant. Michael was my best friend in the world. I don't know how I am going to go on without him. Please send some healing light my way. Thanks.

Barbara, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I honestly can't even think about losing my kid without falling apart--I dunno if I could keep on going if actually faced with it. You must be a very strong woman to make it to this point.

I don't know if it brings you some slight comfort or not, but I honestly do not believe that our beings end when our bodies stop functioning. We continue on, and it is ok. Michael is no longer tormented, he no longer doubts his place in the universe.

I am terribly sorry to hear this. Please know I'll carry you all in my heart in this difficult time and the days ahead.

I do want to urge your son, and you as well, to keep each other close for a while. Suicide is a terrible loss to begin with, but it also leaves such horrible scars on those left behind. I was told once by a grief counselor that if you know someone that has committed suicide you are more vulnerable to doing it yourself.
