I'm sure this has been covered but I can't seem to find a link.
Now that Cokeboy has taken the Oath and we have a definite time/place, is there a chart/interpretation for what we might have to deal with for the next 4 years ?
Thanks to all the DU astrologers ~ you rock !!

| 1. Hi Hippiechick! I ran the chart based on the time shown on Satellite TV |
|
and it showed a time of 11:56 a.m. EST.
With that chart, it puts Chiron in the 10th house conjunct the midheaven. (Not too great for heir bush.)
At the end of the "Tears" thread that Nancy started, I wrote a post about it.... lots of septiles (most involving Uranus) in the chart.
Nancy was going to be using a clock that was down to the second, and I haven't heard from her yet. I can't wait to hear what she sees in the chart! :hi:
I do know that, if bush had taken the oath at 12:05 or so, it would have put Chiron in the 9th, still conjunct the MH. But since he did it a few minutes early (according to the TV), it put Chiron in the 10th house, by my calculations. That makes Chiron very powerful in this chart, and Chiron isn't that much fun.
Saturn is opposite Chiron in the 3rd house, and Saturn rules Capricorn, the sign on the MH. That's pretty ominous for bush.
But.... I'll wait to see Nancy's analysis of it. I'm too new at mundane astrology to be much help here. All I can tell you is that bush is going to have a rough 4 years. Nancy will be able to give us some juicy specifics.

The correct time is 11:56:55 when he finally said "I do." It is a few minutes earlier than I had expected (12:02 like last time) so it changes a few of the progressions.
Rather than have the prog MC moving to conjunct Chiron through the first 9 months of the term, it will be conjunct Chiron from 12/05 to 12/06. In addition, solar arc Saturn will be conjunct the IC 2/06 to 2/07. Note the overlap for 10 months in 2006. (2/06 to 12/07). And what else happens during this same period?
Saturn conjunct Bush's Asc, Mercury, Pluto, and Venus at various times. Uranus square US Ascendant. And Saturn square Condi's Sun/MC/Venus.
So 2006 looks like a banner year for unhappiness and frustration in the administration as their diplomatic efforts (Condi) prove fruitless (Saturn) and they encounter crises (Uranus) that lead to Bush's misery and failure (Saturn).
And this "wound" that the administration may encounter, Chiron style, may be encountered more in 2006 than in 2005 as I had expected.

loudsue! This is the first place I came onto this evening when I hit DU. It was heartening to know how many protesters there were in Washington D.C. today with their passionate, innovative, searing signs. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=2982338"Washington, DC, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- In one of the largest-scale efforts mounted by anti-Bush protesters, thousands of activists banned together Thursday with one resounding message: "You're not my president, President Bush." Hurray for the protesters!! I would have gone but I needed to stay home with the atomic clock running so I could get the precise moment for the chart. It is so rare to have a really accurate chart you can depend on, and the Inaugural is one of the few.

The sixth year of a president's term is usually when the bad stuff (scandals) begin to happen. It was true with Reagan and Clinton, and Nixon resigned in the sixth year.

I really hope the rest of the world knows that a large % of Americans don't condone his actions, either. :(

I've been reading it for a couple of months and I have to tell you that it has given me the ability to accept where we are at this moment.
However, as I practice acceptance, I must admit that I love it when you talk about the future happenings that are yet to come for *co and his cabal!:hi: :bounce:
