Wickfordbard's Scorpio New Moon Newsletter
Welcome, Scorpio! Your stinger is showing.

The Cosmic Story in the heavens is in alignment with the reality we're facing here on Earth. As Above So Below has never been more true.

Scorpio is never afraid to get down and dirty, and in this buildup to Election Day, when Uranus, the planet of revolutionary new values, reform and awakening opposes Saturn, the planet of convention, conservative values and the status quo, we're seeing just how low we can go. Before their face-off on Election morning, we'll get to see all manner of muck rise to the top. Hopefully, we'll release it and cleanse the toxins from our collective systems and psyches.

The opposition of Uranus at 19 Pisces and Saturn at 19 Virgo is the first of five oppositions of two of the three planets that were activated during 1965-67. The revolutionary and evolutionary energies of the 60s are up again for more work. As a matter of fact, this opposition is dancing on the same degrees of that original opposition, except in reversed placement (also Pluto is missing from the equation at the moment but it will soon join up with them!). This time around, Uranus in Pisces opens up new doors of perception, while Saturn in Virgo offers us the discipline and responsibility to be of service to the world and to be true to ourselves.

On November 1-2, Neptune resumes it forward motion, calling on us to embrace the Aquarian ideals of freedom and equality and to manifest our ideals in practical reality. Watch your dreams for some answers to the big questions of life.

But before that happens, we're back in Scorpio reality. Most people I know are distressed at the negative ads that are bombarding us from all sides this political season. All the negative emotions that Scorpio hordes inside are out in the open for all the world to see. The worst emotions are vicious, demeaning and unworthy of a democratic nation. We can also see how the powers-that-be (in all times and places) use fear to control the rest of us.

Scorpio says, instead of being the servant of fear, learn to make friends with your fear. Scorpio tells us, face the fact that Fear is part of life. That Death is absolutely part of life. If you make friends with your fear, you break free. That is Scorpio's test and initiation.

Shorter Readings, dream sessions and coaching are available at a lower cost in view of the economy. Call me and we'll see what we can come up with.

2. "If you make friends with your fear, you break free"
I like that, I can do that, though my fear may just disappear entirely! Imagine that.

Thanks Cathy!

3. Yes, that one stood out to me as well.
My question is "How do we make friends with our fear?"

The channeled being with whom I work has said the same thing. He said to even give each fear a personal name and talk to it. That just never worked for me, personally.

4. I invite it to sit with me
I have used this with emotional pain before. I just imagine I have two rocking chairs in a room, I sit in one and ask the "fear/pain" to have a seat. Then I talk to it, ask it questions. The first thing that comes to my mind is what I use as the answer from it. I carry on a conversation with it "in my head." "One on one" Psychotherapy - lol

I don't know if this would work for everyone, some people might need to work with a real partner.

Forming a relationship to the part of us that becomes shut down by fear seems a very healthy thing.
And perhaps in that process of becoming self-aware we will also learn to cultivate TRUST....in life, in our own intuition/instincts as well as in Divine guidance. Faith/Trust is the antithesis of fear. And so we can't let go of fear entirely until we establish a foundation of trust and faith.

Like developing trust in any relationship it requires listening deeply, practice and leaps of faith, because the outcome is often not immediately clear. And as we strengthen this connection we learn to distinguish between truth and illusion, which also helps us to distinguish which person, situation, etc. is right for us.

It can be a real quagmire, but one that all those traveling the spiritual path must find their way through. We know we are making headway when life requires less effort, things flow and our instincts/intuition quicken so there is less drag on our motions. Things feel more instantaneous and/or synchronistic....and in atunement or right. It's like all our parts, piece by piece, are falling into alignment.

Thanks Wick for another richly layered and thought-provoking piece! :hi:
