school update -- just in time

The good news is I was definitely added back into the MLT selection process in time. I just saw the memo that I'd missed out on went it was sent around last March.

There are 30+ candidates for only 15 slots. That's scary, but I believe that one of the criteria is who is "most ready" as in, who has the most non-MLT coursework completed. So I *should* be at or near the top of the list.

So for the moment I can let that go and get back to the other options I'm working. It's frustrating to lose so much time and energy to something that is just one of several options. But I was afraid to let that door close just yet. Until I have a better sense of what in the heck is going on....

I've also just sent off an email to the program director for the similar program in Oregon to make sure she got everything she needs to consider me. And I'm releasing to the universe yet again...

IHAD, you're dead on. I just don't have the energy for any more extra effort. I'm just so tired of working my butt off only to run into one dead end after another.
