| I just had a little insight into the Bush/Cheney whining about closing Gitmo. |
|
They claim that it's setting us up for another terrorist attack if they are released. It's not us they are afraid for but themselves. Those guys who were innocent and held without charges for years and tortured are going to be free in other parts of the world. They are afraid they are going to come back and get revenge on them. That's what they are crowing about. They are shuddering with fear. They never believed that Democrats would ever be in power again and those prisoners they had wronged would never be released. I don't believe those guys will try to take revenge but Bush and Cheney will have to live every day of their lives in fear. I think there might be some hard core Al Queda terrorists who might try to take them out because of the torture, and Bush and Cheney are really scared, like bullies usually become when threatened, but it's not the freed detainees they should be afraid of. Any body else getting these vibes?

| 1. Also, once they're free, they'll also be able to testify if there ever is... |
|
a war crimes tribunal. (Please Universe, let it be so.)
They've got much to cause them sleepless nights. :)

| 2. Yep, karma in all its forms can be rough if all you think about |
|
is yourself.
I still want to see them in orange jumpsuits... but this is a good start.
