| Is it possible to effect someone's dreams /thoughts |
|
as you watch them sleep? By thought projection/suggestions? Someone that might need a little emotional/mental help?

| 1. I would imagine, you would need permission more than anything, |
|
but I think it is possible.
Yet, very dangerous, since a person in sleep appears to me, as vulnerable...
Perhaps it is better to try to meet up with the person in your own dreams.. :)

| 3. Tinkering with the thoughts of others is a very bad thing |
|

Yes it can be done. It's done by, essentially, ripping a hole in them. Whether motivated by good or bad motives, doing that amounts to a psychic attack. There's not a whole lot of good you can do to someone by ripping a hole in them.
Then there's the matter of wisdom and unintended consequences. Say, hypothetically, you did alter someone else's thoughts. Are you really, truly certain that you know what you are doing? The "fear" you may address, for example, may be the fear that would have kept them alive in a future crisis. Or the hope you may give a depressed person might lift their mood just enough for them to find the motivation to kill themselves. Or perhaps the problems they are dealing with at the moment are, in fact, part of a deep spiritual transformation. Do you really want to butt into the process and relieve just enough suffering to prevent the more profound transformation from taking place which would have brought them much deeper and more lasting happiness?
There are much, much better ways to help someone. Pray for them, bless them, send them light, do whatever it is that your path says you may do to help others, or just be a not-particularly-esoteric real-life friend. But stay far away from anything which involves direct psychic manipulation of another person's thought.

I remember leading up to the primaries, you were one of my favorite DUers.
It's wonderful to see you here, sharing your wisdom in this space.

| 4. You can meet up with people in Lucid Dreaming... |
|
You can also use direct commands to the subconscious...but be aware that ANYTIME we manipulate and try to control another..for whatever reason..we have crossed into Black Magic. Harm none...this includes the self. No matter how good our intentions are..we do NOT have the right to control others. We must ask for permission and they have the right to say no.

| 5. I had a friend who used to speak to her children when they were sleeping |
|
giving them positive messages about their talents, how much they were loved, how they can overcome their challenges (they had learning disabilities). She had a script she read through every night, particularly when they were having rough times with friends and teachers. She would do this in 21 day increments.

That's interesting. How has it turned out? (You said "used to" so we can't tell how long ago this was.) When I was young, I was fascinated with what was referred to as "sleep reading", where I suppose slmost by osmosis we could "read" an audiobook by "listening" to it in our sleep. (I tried putting a tape recorder under my pillow, but I don't think it did any good. Not sure I'd even know one way or the other. lol)
I suppose it might be a form of hypnosis, this talking to sleepers.
